What does this new immigration policy regarding deportations really mean?

I just watched CNN and they were talking about this new immigration policy regarding deportations.Apparently, the Obama administration wants to stop the deportation of some 300K illegals who don’t pose a threat to national security and allow them to apply for a work permit.Sounds crazy, but that’s what it states in several articles I have read on the web as well.Does anyone know more specifics about this?

    No, you misunderstood.

The new ruling merely requires certain individual cases to go before an immigration hearing judge, rather than being deported without hearing.

This is Obama’s new jobs program 300K illegals who don’t pose a threat to national security by giving work permits and never mind over 3 million here have no jobs, Obama puts the needs of illegals before the actual citizens here.

for example, if ICE conducts a raid they check for criminal history. the ones with a criminal history get the boot, the others get let go.

I will put it to you like this. If you are an illegal the gov’t won’t think of deporting you until one of the two things happen 1) the 2012 elections are over 2) you kill a legal American citizen.
