Harjap says all of you know that our magazine Immigration Today comes out where we give immigration news from around the world for you to read. Unfortunately, there is a big problem that has occurred, over the last two weeks. I have noticed that a newspaper from here has been putting our news stories without writing our name or mentioning Immigration Today. Let me tell you about the media in this country, I am not a big media name or expert but when you take someone’s news or write it, you have to declare or say thanks to this person or source the magazine you got the information from. Sometimes you may have seen the BBC show Sky’s news and in the corner it states courtesy of Sky TV or Sky News. I have noticed these newspapers don’t know about this or maybe they do and are doing it on purpose by saying let’s do this by pushing the others about. In our June issue of Immigration Today, I did an interview about adoption. This came out in the first week of June, on the 5th or 4th. In the Panjab Times July issue, our interview and my picture, word for word and it says talk. First of all, I didn’t talk to anyone from there, I didn’t go to India for 3 months and I didn’t speak to any reporter there. If you read the story, you will notice it has been lifted from Immigration Today and copied. I don’t mind they used the interview as it is free publicity for me, I should stay quiet but it is about the truth. It says the talk we have done; it doesn’t mention anything of the magazine …
